Federal Communications Commission denies nearly $1,000,000,000 in funding to SpaceX

American aerospace company SpaceX will not receive public funding for the development of the satellite constellation Starlink.

Elon Musk's company made a request for $900 million in government funding at . However, it was rejected by the Office of Competition on Wireline Networks of the Federal Communications Commission of the United States. SpaceX called the decision "grossly unfair" and has already filed an appeal.
