Last year at the AUSA-2021 arms show, Ghost Robotics unveiled the Q-UGV robotic dog. Now the Spanish Army is considering purchasing these robots.

Here's What We Know

Personnel from one of the Spanish Army's parachute brigades had the opportunity to test the capabilities of the Q-UGV. Experts from Paunker, which is the distributor of Ghost Robotics products in Spain, took part in the tests.

The robot can be used in urban areas and in conditions of limited space. The maximum speed of movement is 7.2 km/h and the power reserve is 12.5 km. The Q-UGV has many sensors on board that can help the military improve situational awareness at different times of the day.

At AUSA-2021, Ghost Robotics unveiled a Q-UGV with a sniper rifle mounted on it. The manufacturer used SWORD International 6.5mm Creedmoor cannon, which can be operated without human assistance.
