Ukraine received Gepard self-propelled air defense systems from Germany. We have a total of 30 units. The Krauss-Maffei company produces these machines. The Gepard self-propelled air defense gun is intended to cover the land forces, destroy the air targets at the slanting ranges from 100 meters to 4 km and at the altitudes up to 3 km, flying with the speed up to 350-400 m/s, as well as destroy the ground and surface targets at the range up to 4500 meters. The SAM is built on the chassis of the Leopard tank.
