PlayStation Stars loyalty program has been launched in Asia: Players will receive various digital bonuses and trophies for completing games
In its blog, PlayStation said that on September 29, a new loyalty program, PlayStation Stars, will be launched in Asia. Stars will give players various digital bonuses and trophies that can be used to decorate their profile. They will be awarded for passing games.
Here's What We Know
The statement also promised to continue to develop the program, adding new features, rewards, benefits and ways to enjoy what we love about PlayStation.
PlayStation Stars will appear in other countries, but later:
- North and South America: October 5
- European countries, Australia and New Zealand : October 13
PS Plus subscribers will also receive bonuses, although it is not known what exactly, but the PlayStation Stars program is completely free.
Initially, you will be able to view trophies only through the PlayStation App on Android and IOS. Later it will be possible to do it on PlayStation 5.
Flashback
PlayStation Stars will have four status levels that will show achievements. They are based on the number of trophies received for completing games. The higher the level, the more privileges and benefits you can get. It is important to say that replenishment of PSN wallet is not taken into account when calculating PlayStation Stars points. Rewards cannot be sold or exchanged. They are only cosmetic items that can be used to decorate your profile.
When We Can Expect It
PlayStation Stars was launched in Asia on September 29. In October, the system should appear in other countries.
