Reznikov: Within two days of "people's satellite" ICEYE operation, Russia lost more than $20,000,000 worth of armored vehicles

A month ago, thanks to donations from Ukrainians, Serhiy Prytula's Foundation bought the ICEYE satellite for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Now Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov shared the first results of its work.

Here's What We Know

The satellite has already proved its worth. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have been using it for some time. The images are directly decoded and processed by the military intelligence specialists of the Ministry of Defense.

According to the Minister, during only two days of work of the "people's satellite" the AFU destroyed more enemy armored vehicles than the whole project was worth. That is, we are talking about more than $20,000,000.

At the end of June 2022, Ukrainians raised $20 million for three Bayraktar TB2 drones, but Baykar handed over the UAVs for free. Nearly two months later, it became known that the money had been spent on the purchase of one satellite and access to the database of all ICEYE satellites.
