LG announced MAGNIT 4K 136" MicroLED TV with 120 Hz frame rate
South Korean company LG introduced a premium television MAGNIT 4K, which supports artificial intelligence algorithms and has a MicroLED panel.
Here's What We Know
The manufacturer claims that the MicroLED display is capable of delivering exceptional brightness, as well as stunning color reproduction and contrast. The TV features a 4K ULTRA HD panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 dots and a peak brightness of 2000 nits. The frame refresh rate is 120 Hz.
The LG MAGNIT 4K has an Alpha 9 chip for artificial intelligence tasks. A dedicated processor can reduce noise and is also responsible for adjusting the saturation and contrast of the picture. The company claims that the system is able to optimize brightness and tone display based on lighting.
The novelty works on the basis of proprietary operating system webOS. Users can display images on TV from computers (Windows and macOS) and smartphones (Android and iOS) due to the support of AirPlay and Miracast. A gallery function paired with thin screen frames turns the MAGNIT 4K into a picture when the TV is not in use.
The company hasn't disclosed the cost of the TV. But it is already known that LG MAGNIT 4K will be sold in Bang & Olufsen stores complete with Beolab 90 speakers.
