Snapchat, TikTok, and YouTube get 10-bit HDR video support on Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro

Google revealed yesterday, October 6, at the launch of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro that the smartphones will be able to record 10-bit HDR movies not only through the standard camera app.

According to Google, Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube now also have such a feature. These are the first Android apps that have received such a feature. In the near future, the list of programs should expand.

By the way, according to analyst Mishaal Rahman, support for 10-bit HDR videos appeared in Android 13 thanks to the new Camera2 API. It was just started to be used by the above-mentioned applications.
