Activision released a trailer for the PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (not to be confused with the game with an identical title in 2009), which told about the features of the game on PC.

Here's What We Know

In short, the game has all the traits of a AAA game for PC 2022. Between snippets of gameplay, we're promised expansion to 4K and happy support for ultra-wide displays. We're also promised an advanced "Ricochet Anti-Cheat" system, which has already been used in the latest Warzone and Vanguard. If you do a quick scour of the internet for reviews of it, you can certainly find a few complaints, but mostly they are related to the fact that some cheaters do slip into the game. There are no complaints about performance degradation or anything like that. At the end of the trailer we see a sign saying "Over 500 customization options" (meaning weapon customization).

The game is not deprived of modern technologies like FidelityFX, which will improve the image, or frame rate limiting to improve overall performance.

The game will be released on October 28, 2022 on PC.
