Many Android smartphone manufacturers, from Samsung to Google, support eSIM, Apple also released the iPhone 14 series with eSIM (but only in the US). Xiaomi also has devices with eSIM support, but, in fact, only the recently introduced Xiaomi 12T Pro was the Chinese manufacturer's first global smartphone with eSIM.

Here's How It Works

eSIM means you don't need to install a physical card - the digital SIM is already installed on the smartphone, and you'll definitely never lose it. In addition, eSIM makes it easier to switch from one mobile operator to another. For example, the Redmi Note 10T also supports eSIM, but that only works in Japan.

As for the Xiaomi 12T Pro, eSIM support is announced in many European countries, the UK, Chile, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, etc. - In total, the official list of several dozen countries in the global market. Also listed are the carriers that support eSIM on Xiaomi 12T Pro. For example, in Ukraine it is Kyivstar and Lifecell, in the UK - EE, O2 and Vodafone, in Poland - Orange, Plus and T-Mobile, in France - Bouygues Telecom, Free, Orange and SFR.
