The German company Lufthansa was the first to ban passengers from using Apple Airtag tags, which often help to find lost things at airports.
Here's What We Know
Europe's largest airline company claims that AirTags belong to the category of portable electronics. In this regard, Lufthansa has banned the use of Apple tags in accordance with the dangerous goods regulations of the International Civil Aviation Organization.
The rules forbid the transmission of the signal. Passengers on planes must disable the feature, making AirTag a useless accessory. Technically, all passengers can leave the tracker in their luggage, but without the basic function it is of no use. No other airline has yet announced similar restrictions.
