Expecting a new batch of Caesar guns and other weapons: Macron promised more military aid for Ukraine after his conversation with Zelensky
Today, October 10, after a massive rocket attack, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Here's What We Know
This is stated on the website of the Elysee Palace. Macron condemned the missile attacks on Ukraine and promised to increase military aid to the AFU. What specific weapons the President of France is talking about did not say, but we can say for sure about the new batch of self-propelled artillery units Caesar.
We are talking about 6-12 self-propelled artillery systems, which were originally intended for the armed forces of Denmark. They differ from the French versions with increased weight, ammunition up to 36 rounds, and improved armor.
By the way, Ukraine now has 18 SAU Caesar in service. They can hit targets at a distance of up to 42 km.
