T-72M4 CZ replacement: Rheinmetall transfers 14 Leopard 2A4 tanks to the Czech Republic

The company Rheinmetall signed a contract with the Czech Defense Ministry on October 11 for supplies of German armaments.

We are talking about 14 Leopard 2A4 tanks, as well as one Büffel armored recovery vehicle. In addition to equipment the Czech Republic will also receive spare parts, repair equipment and ammunition. The first deliveries of weapons will begin in December this year. The entire contract is planned to be closed by the end of 2023.

By the way, the Czech Republic is going to use German Leopard 2A4 tanks instead of the T-72M4 CZ. Most likely, the Soviet tanks will be handed over to Ukraine in the near future.
