According to the command on October 12 from 8:40 to 8:58 Ukrainian air defense missile unit of the AFU destroyed four Ka-52 attack helicopters. They were providing fire support to the ground occupation troops in the southern direction. One helicopter went down on liberated territory, while the other three went down on the front line.
