According to gamesindustry, the PlayStation 5 has passed the two million copies sold mark in the UK. This makes it the fourth fastest selling game console of all time.

Here's What We Know

PlayStation 5 is the most profitable console in the ranking. For 98 weeks, the console brought 919 million pounds sterling. Gamesindustry also published the fastest console sales in the UK, which reached two million copies.

Top 3:

1. Wii - 57 weeks and £358 million
2. PS2 - 60 weeks and 469 million pounds
3. PS4 - 75 weeks and 700 million pounds

Prior to that, the record for profit was held by Xbox One. The console took 104 weeks to bring Microsoft 726 million pounds. And Nintendo Switch needed 140 weeks to reach 2 million copies and 559 million pounds of profit.
