Insider: Motorola is working on a Moto X40 smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and a 50 MP camera

Motorola unveiled the low-cost flagship Moto X30 smartphone in China in December 2021, and is now working on its successor.

Here's What We Know

The information was shared by Chinese insider Digital Chat Station. The smartphone will be called Moto X40 and will run on the yet unannounced top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. In addition, the novelty should get a display with FHD resolution and a main camera with multiple modules and the main sensor of 50 MP.

The price of Moto X40 informant did not disclose, but said that this is likely to be the cheapest smartphone on the market with the new Qualcomm chip. The device should be introduced in December.
