Apple announces Spatial Audio support with Dolby Atmos in Apple Music for five Mercedes-Benz models

Apple has introduced support for Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos in Apple Music for Mercedes-Benz cars.

Here's What We Know

We're talking about five models: the Mercedes-Maybach, EQS, EQS SUV, EQE and S-Class. In order for the new technology to work, the cars must have a Burmester 3D or Burmester 4D audio system installed. It costs several thousand dollars and is installed in the cars as an additional option.

Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos is a mode that allows you to listen to music with surround sound. The technology was originally announced for AirPods and Beats headphones. Then it also appeared in the HomePod and HomePod mini smart speakers.
