Rumor: Google's foldable smartphone Pixel Notepad and Pixel Tablet will get side fingerprint scanners

Our colleagues at 9to5Google have revealed new details about Google's foldable Pixel Notepad smartphone and Pixel Tablet.

Here's What We Know

According to the publication, both novelties will not get under-screen fingerprint scanners, like the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Instead, the devices will be equipped with conventional sensors. They will be placed on the sides of the gadgets.

Flashback

Google Pixel Notepad will be Google's first rocky smartphone. The device will get a proprietary Tensor processor, 12GB of RAM, an Android 12L operating system and multiple cameras. The smartphone should cost around $1400.

As for the Pixel Tablet, it will be a tablet. It will get a special docking station, which will allow you to use the device as a smart display to control smart gadgets in the house. Both novelties should be released in 2023.
