The programmer was able to launch P.T. horror on PlayStation 5. To do this, it was necessary to carry out machinations with emulators, hacked consoles and backups
Lance McDonald was able to run the horror P.T. on an unbroken PlayStation 5.
Here's What We Know
The programmer tweeted about it. Lance was able to transfer a broken PS4 emulator from another broken PS5 using a USB backup to unlock the game on his main PS5.
There is one caveat though. Lance clarified that you need to have P.T. on your PSN account. Then you need to activate the account on a hacked PS5 and on a normal, fully updated PS5.
A few seconds of gameplay was also shown. So the method is really working, but who else is willing to mess with it like that?
Flashback
P.T. is a free horror teaser released exclusively for PlayStation 4. P.T. was supposed to become part of the Silent Hills universe. It was developed by Hideo Kojima himself. However, P.T. was removed from the PlayStation Store on April 29, 2015 after a conflict between Konami and Kojima. P.T. was downloaded more than a million times. Gamers noted that this is one of the scariest games ever.
