For smartphones, PCs and cars: Samsung announced the fastest LPDDR5X DRAM memory

Korean manufacturer Samsung announced a new memory chip LPDDR5X DRAM.
Here's What We Know
According to the manufacturer, this is the world's fastest DRAM memory. It boasts data transfer speeds of up to 8.5 Gbps. The previous record was 6.5 Gbps. The new chip is an improved version of LPDDR5. It boasts 20% reduced power consumption, as well as support for up to 64GB of capacity.
By the way, Samsung LPDDR5X can be used not only with smartphones, but also PCs, servers and cars. Qualcomm processors will be the first to support the new memory chip.
