Apple unveiled iPad Pro tablets with M2 processor, updated Apple Pencil and Wi-Fi 6E support starting at $800
Apple has updated its line of iPad Pro tablets. A key feature of the series was the appearance of the chip M2.
Here's What We Know
Due to the use of a new processor, familiar to us from the laptops, iPad Pro performance has increased by 15% and 35% on the CPU and GPU, respectively, if compared with the tablets of the previous generation. The neural block processes 40% more operations per second. Bandwidth has been increased by 50% over the M1 to 100GB/s.
The next-generation Apple Pencil is recognizable up to 1.2 cm above the tablet's screen. Apple has also added support for Wi-Fi 6E. Cellular modifications will be able to work on 5G networks in most countries around the world.
As before, the company offers us two models: 11" (2388 x 1668 dots) and 12.9" (2732 x 2048 dots). Both displays are based on an IPS matrix. The main camera resolution is 12 MP + 10 MP, and the front camera - 12 MP. The tablets run on the iPadOS 16.1 operating system.
Price & When We Can Expect It
The launch of sales of new products is scheduled for October 26, 2022. The tablets will be available with 8/16 GB of RAM and 128-2048 GB of internal memory. You can check out the prices below:
