Apple has announced a new test version of watchOS 9.1 for smartwatch owners.

Here's What We Know

The firmware came out with the prefix Release Candidate. That is, this is a pre-release version of the software. The next firmware will already be stable and available to all users.

As for the list of changes, the system has worked on working time during outdoor walks and runs by reducing heart rate measurement and GPS readings on the Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch SE (2nd generation) and Apple Watch Ultra. The Apple Watch also includes support for standard Matter for smartwatches and the ability to download music via Wi-Fi or mobile network without having to plug in a charger.
