Capcom announced the release of Resident Evil 2 & 3 remakes on Nintendo Switch in November, and Resident Evil 7 should be expected on December 16
At the latest Resident Evil Showcase presentation, Capcom announced that Resident Evil 2, 3 and Resident Evil 7 remakes will be released on Nintendo Switch.
Here's What We Know
Resident Evil 2,3 and 7 on the portable console will work exclusively through cloud gaming. This means that players will not be able to purchase digital or physical copies. Games will run through servers and require a stable internet connection.
Resident Evil release date on Nintendo Switch:
- Resident Evil 2 remake - November 11
- Resident Evil 3 remake - November 18
- Resident Evil 7 - December 16
It also became known that the cloud version of Resident Evil Village will be released on Switch on October 28, and the Winters' Expansion, which includes the Shadows of Rose expansion, is expected on the console on February 12.
All these games are currently available on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
