Ukraine got in touch with Elon Musk, the problem of work and payment for Starlink satellite Internet for the AFU was solved
The other day we wrote that Elon Musk would continue to fund Starlink satellite communications in Ukraine. Now this has also been confirmed by Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov in an interview with Politico.
Here's What We Know
According to Reznikov, Ukraine has contacted Musk directly. The Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov took the responsibility of negotiating with the billionaire.
For now, all issues have been resolved and Starlink will continue to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. If future funding issues arise, Ukraine will seek help from the Pentagon, as well as European partners and private donors.
In case you didn't know
Starlink is a global satellite system being deployed by SpaceX. It provides high-speed satellite broadband Internet access in places where it has been unreliable, expensive or completely unavailable. The AFU has been using Starlink since the beginning of the full-scale war.
