The final episode of "Dragon House," which will premiere in a few days, was leaked to the Internet. HBO is furious and looking for the culprits
At one time, the Game of Thrones finale was leaked to the public before its official release. Now the spin-off, House of the Dragon, has suffered the same fate.
Here's What We Know
The final episode of the first season of the series is due out on HBO tomorrow, October 23 (or the night of October 24 - depending on the country), but it has already been leaked on the Internet, and spoilers are spreading on social networks.
In a statement released to IGN and Variety, HBO service officials say they are "disappointed that this illegal action has disrupted the viewing experience for loyal fans of the show" and are "aggressively tracking and retrieving these copies from the internet." Distribution partners in Europe, the Middle East and Africa are suspected of leaking.
"We are aware that the tenth episode of House of the Dragon has been posted on illegal torrent sites. It appears to have originated from a distribution partner in the EMEA region. HBO is aggressively monitoring and pulling these copies from the internet. We’re disappointed that this unlawful action has disrupted the viewing experience for loyal fans of the show, who will get to see a pristine version of the episode when it premieres Sunday on HBO and HBO Max, where it will stream exclusively in 4K"
