Already in Ukraine: Germany has handed over an additional batch of MARS II rocket launchers, Panzerhaubitze 2000 SAU, and two surface drones to the Ukrainian armed forces
Just the other day we wrote that Germany is going to transfer an additional batch of heavy weapons to the AFU by the end of this year. As it turned out, it is already in Ukraine.
Here's What We Know
A corresponding message appeared on the website of the Bundeswehr. We are talking about two additional multiple rocket launchers MARS II. It means that now there are five MARS II launchers in the arsenal of the AFU. In addition to this Ukraine also has twenty HIMARS and six M270 MLRS.
The Government of Germany has also sent to Ukraine four self-propelled howitzers Panzerhaubitze 2000 with the range of fire up to 50 km. That is, the Armed Forces of Ukraine now have twenty-two Panzerhaubitze 2000 (14 from Germany and 8 from the Netherlands).
By the way, the Bundeswehr website also talks about the transfer to Ukraine of two surface drones, but what kind of drones is unknown.
