Reznikov: Ukraine will receive the first batch of Switchblade 600 kamikaze drones in the coming weeks; such UAVs can fly at 185 km/h and destroy enemy tanks

We have written many times that AeroVironment is preparing Switchblade 600 kamikaze drones for the AFU. Now there is information when they will arrive in Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

The first batch of 10 UAVs will be handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the coming weeks. This was told in an interview with Politico by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov. By the way, the total number of drones has not yet been disclosed. Only it is known that the contract is for $2,200,000.

The Switchblade 600 is a bomber ammunition. It is an improved version of the Switchblade 300. The drone is capable of carrying up to 23 kg of ammunition and a Javelin type anti-tank warhead. It boasts a range of up to 40 km and a flight speed of 185 km/h.
