Snapdragon 8 Gen2, 120Hz E6 AMOLED display, three 50MP Leica cameras and MIUI 14 with Android 13 - this will be the new generation flagship Xiaomi 13 Pro
A well-known insider @heyitsypgesh published a list of key technical specifications of the Xiaomi 13 Pro flagship smartphone.
Here's What We Know
The model of the Chinese company will be one of the first to receive the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 single-crystal system. If you believe the benchmark Geekbench 5, the peak frequency of the chip will be a record 3.36 GHz, and the increase in CPU performance will be about 50% compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen1. The flagship mobile platform will be announced in about a month.
Xiaomi 13 Pro, like its predecessor, will get a triple main camera. Each of the three modules (wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle and telephoto) will have a sensor with a resolution of 50 MP. In the main module we'll see a 1" Sony IMX989 sensor. Leica optics are also expected. The resolution of the camera for selfies will be 32 MP.
Under the hood of the Xiaomi 13 Pro will be a 4800 mAh battery with 120W fast charging. Why it is not 210 watts, as in the Redmi Note 12 Pro Racing, it is difficult to say. Perhaps the company is saving it for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
The next-generation flagship will get an LTPO E6 AMOLED display with a 120 Hz sweep rate. The diagonal of the display will be 6.7". Under the screen will be a fingerprint scanner. Naturally, Xiaomi 13 Pro will get all the key interfaces like Wi-Fi 6E and NFC. On sale the smartphone will come with the firmware MIUI 14 Android 13.
