Google Chrome has a new sidebar that gives quick access to search results
The browser from Google has a new sidebar with which you can access search results without having to open a new tab with the search engine. Google also announced that it is bringing to the desktop version of Chrome the price tracking feature that is already available on smartphones.
Here's What We Know
In his blog, Google detailed how to access the new panel. After you go to the site from the search engine page, you will see a small Google icon in the address bar. Clicking on it you will get the same search results that you got before you went to the site. Also from here you can perform another search using the corresponding field. This can be a really useful and convenient feature. For example, when you want to find several recipes for cooking a dish.
Google also announced that Chrome will get a built-in price tracking feature that will send you emails every time a certain product becomes cheaper. In theory, the "Price Tracker" button should appear whenever you visit a store page and sign in to your account in the browser, but it is currently impossible to get it to show up in either the current version of Chrome or the beta branch.
