As it turned out, destroying Russian ammunition depots is not the only purpose of the M142 HIMARS. The U.S. military made sure of that.
Here's What We Know
The U.S. military base Fort Sill, where soldiers are trained to use artillery weapons, originally celebrated Halloween in 2022. To delight the kids, the military used M142 HIMARS with candy instead of rockets.
A video appeared on the official Fort Sill Twitter page showing a highly mobile artillery system firing candy. Afterwards, the kids happily run out to collect the candy.
And this is how one of the M142 HIMARS missile systems, which is in service with the Defense Forces of Ukraine, looks like. Also prepared for Halloween.
