A 7-minute video from the developers of God of War: Ragnarok tells more about the creation of enemies and the world of Svartalfheim, where dwarves live.

Here's What We Know

Svartalfheim is the home of Brok and Sindri, the dwarves that fans of God of War (2018) have come to love. Svartalheim is unique in that it contains many different biomes: from wetlands to mountain springs. There are a lot of minerals that have a lot of resources. That is why the dwarves in the game world are so hardworking and resourceful.

The developers have tried to make this world holistic. Svartalheim looks like an industrial city, where every house, building or workshop is harmoniously combined with each other, and the inhabitants of this world make us believe that they really live here.

Exploring the location, players will be able to learn more about the political situation of the dwarves and how they are affected by the approach of Ragnarok.

They also told about Grims - new creatures that we will meet in the game. When creating Grims, the developers were inspired by lizards and the washes where they live. To make it more believable, the designers paid great attention to the creation of concept art of the environment and the Grims themselves, in order to combine it all neatly in the game.

In the end, the developers stated that they put a lot of effort into making this world believable and are looking forward to players exploring it.
