The CNN news agency reports that Russia may receive a shipment of Iranian-made ballistic missiles.

Here's What We Know

According to CNN, Iran will send about 1,000 weapons to Russia, including not only ballistic missiles, but also strike drones. In parallel, the Defense Intelligence Directorate General states that Russia will receive more than two hundred Mohajer-6, Shahed-136 and Arash-2 drones.

CNN cites officials who monitor Iran's weapons program. According to them, ground-to-ground ballistic missiles will be sent to Russia. There is no information yet on the timing of the delivery.

CNN's sources do not specify what kind of missiles Iran will share either. Two weeks ago, The Washington Post wrote about the Fateh-110 and Zolfaghar. These are medium-range missiles with a maximum launch range of 300 and 700 kilometers, respectively.
