The Look to Speak app, which was developed as an experiment almost 2 years ago, was created to help people with speech disorders communicate using only their own eyes. Now the application supports almost two dozen languages, among which now appears Ukrainian. To play the text, the smartphone's front camera is used to track the upward and sideways movement of the pupils. With this navigation, the user can play a pre-created set of ready-made phrases.

Getting started with the application is easy - the developer recommends fixing the smartphone at face level. The interface provides the user with two columns with a list of phrases (the list can be supplemented and the order of the phrases can be changed). Each look to the right or left reduces the number of phrases by half until there's one left, which is pronounced by the speech synthesizer, which is included in every Android-smartphone TalkBack package. The developers have also translated the video user guide into Ukrainian.
