The merger of HBO Max and Discovery Plus will take place even earlier than planned
On Tuesday, February 3, in a telephone conversation about profits, the CEO of Warner Bros. Descovery Devid Zaslav announced that the merger of HBO Max and Discovery Plus is going well and will not take place in the summer of 2023, but on the spring.
Here's What We Know
The two servers differ greatly in terms of user interface and the server part. HDO Max, of course, beats Discovery Plus in the number of members, as it had 76.8 million subscribers before the deal, but has 94.9 million after.
The company believes that the combination of the two services will not only increase the number of signups, but will also significantly increase advertising revenues. As for the content on the new service, only an increased budget for the new one is planned for the time being.
