It got even better: GameSpot compared the first trailer of God of War Ragnarok with the final gameplay
GameSpot decided to compare the first trailer of God of War Ragnarok with the final gameplay that players will see. And as it turned out, it got better.
Here's What We Know
In the gaming industry, from time to time, there are moments when developers show an incredible game trailer, and in the end we get something else. The best example is Ubisoft and the situation around Watch Dogs in 2014. Then everyone was shocked by the trailers, but the game itself was not what the developers promised.
GameSpot decided to demonstrate the situation around God of War Ragnarok. And the moments that could be seen in the first trailer look much better in the game. The image has become darker and more detailed. Given the atmosphere of the game, this color palette is the best fit.
Flashback
God of War Ragnarok is a direct sequel to the game God of War (2018). The project is developed by Santa Monica studio. The events unfold in Scandinavian mythology and tell about the plight of the former Greek god of war Kratos, who moved to Scandinavia, started a family and is trying to become a real father to his young son Atreus. However, the traumas of the past do not allow Kratos to get over himself.
When We Can Expect It
God of War Ragnarok will be released on November 9, 2022 exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
