The 100 most expensive brands are already worth more than $3 trillion - leading Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Google and Samsung

Consulting agency Interbrand published the top 100 most expensive brands in the world in 2022. Four companies from the U.S. were included in the top five, and two manufacturers out of five lead the smartphone market.

Here's What We Know

Apple has become the most expensive brand. It rose in price by 18% over the year and is now worth $482.215 billion. Microsoft's value rose 32% at once compared to 2021, but the company is in second place with a price of $278.288 billion.

Amazon is in third place, up 10% at $274.819 billion, while Google's brand is worth $251.751 billion and Samsung's is worth $87.689 billion, about five times cheaper than Apple. Rounding out the top 10 are Toyota ($59.757 billion), Coca-Cola ($57.535 billion), Mercedes-Bez ($56.103 billion), Disney ($50.325 billion) and Nike ($50.289 billion).

In 12th position is Tesla, $600 million behind the McDonald's brand. PayPal, also related to Elon Musk, is in 38th position. The brand is worth $17.058 billion, but Twitter has not found a place in the top 100 in contrast to Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. Also it should be noted that for the first time the total value of the hundred most expensive brands exceeds $3 trillion.
