Starlink will limit traffic in the U.S. and Canada if you use more than 1TB per month, or leave everything unchanged for an additional fee

Aerospace company SpaceX has updated the policy of fair use of the service Starlink and will now restrict access to satellite Internet for certain categories of users.

Here's What We Know

The restriction will be introduced on the territory of Canada and the United States from next month. Starlink will monitor traffic between 07:00 and 23:00 as part of Priority Access. The company states that one-tenth of all subscribers use more than 1TB of traffic per month. If this is exceeded, users will have reduced priority during peak consumption periods.

Anyone wishing to continue to use priority access to the Internet will have that option, but for a fee. The Starlink service offers additional traffic at $0.25 per 1GB. Users can download games and other "big" content during the period from 23:00 to 07:00, when the traffic will not be counted for Priority Access.
