The eccentric Elon Musk continues to surprise, but this time with his short-sighted decisions.

Recall that at the end of October Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion, and the first thing he did after the purchase - after installing the sink - was to fire half of the employees, including all of the top managers.

Here's What We Know

It wasn't even a week before Musk realized he'd overreacted. The remaining staff is not up to the task and, according to Bloomberg, Elon Musk asked some of the fired employees to return to Twitter and use their knowledge and experience to help implement Musk's new strategy.

It remains to be seen whether the fired employees will return to the office, but such a quick and large-scale dismissal of employees was clearly a hasty and short-sighted decision by Musk.
