Deadpool 3 director may make a film based on the Star Wars universe

There are many films and TV series in development based on the George Lucas universe, and it looks like another film from the famous director will be added to the list. According to Deadline, Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy is currently "in talks" to direct a new film in the franchise. There is no information about the plot or the cast yet and it may not appear anytime soon, as Levy is also ready to work on the last season of Stranger Things and Deadpool.

Here's What We Know

The last full-fledged Star Wars movie was released in 2019 and it was "Star Wars: Skywalker. Rise of Skywalker" and since then there were only short series like "Obi-Wan Kenobi" or "Mandalorian". So it would be interesting to plunge back into a great new story in a "galaxy far, far away".
