Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, continues to think of ways to develop the social network.

Here's What We Know

The American billionaire's new idea is to make Twitter paid for everyone. Previously, it was limited to only $8 for a Twitter Blue subscription, which allows you to get a profile verification mark and offers a few other bonuses.

The idea of a paid access to the social network was discussed between Elon Musk and his adviser David Sacks. The aim is that users would have free access to Twitter every month for a certain period of time, but if they exceed the limit, they would have to pay.

This is reported by the publication Platformer, citing its sources. However, it is unclear how seriously Elon Musk considers this idea. However, Platformer notes that Twitter Blue's $8-a-month subscription will cost the company $6, that is, they will earn only $2 per user. Moreover, because of the nearly 40% price hike Twitter will lose some of its subscribed users. There are about 100,000 of them now.
