Leica Leitz Phone 2: 240 Hz OLED screen, 1-inch 47.2 MP camera sensor and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip for $1540
Leica presented the Leitz Phone 1 smartphone last year together with the Japanese holding company Softbank, and now has released its successor.

The device was named Leitz Phone 2. Like the first model, the novelty is made on the basis of a Sharp smartphone. We are talking about the model Aquos R7. The Leitz Phone 2 differs only in appearance and software part, but the characteristics are the same.
That is, Leica Leitz Phone 2 has a 6.6-inch display with an IGZO OLED matrix, a resolution of 2730×1260 pixels, the adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 240 Hz, a maximum brightness of 2000 nits, support for 10-bit colors, Dolby Vision and built-in ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is equipped with three cameras: a front one at 12.6 MP and a dual main 47.2 MP (1-inch sensor) + 1.9 MP (depth sensor). The device runs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 ROM.
The smartphone features a memory card slot, a 5,000mAh battery, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, NFC, a USB Type-C port and a headphone jack. The body of the device is IP68 protected.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Sales of the Leica Leitz Phone 2 will start on November 18. The novelty will cost $1540. The smartphone is planned to sell only in Japan so far.
