Forza Horizon 5 players on PC now have access to ray tracing and DLSS or FSR scaling. This and other features came to the game with the latest Donut Media update.

Here's What We Know

To unlock the game's full potential you of course need a powerful PC, but Playground Games has added Nvidia's DLSS scaling technology along with the latest AMD FSR 2.2 support. Both upscaling technologies will allow you to take a 1080p image and upscale it to 4K, improving performance in the game. If you have an Nvidia RTX graphics card, then you will have access to DLSS, but only version 2.4, not the latest 3.0.

Forza Horizon 5 has long supported ray tracing, but previously it was limited to the ForzaVista presentation mode for viewing cars in the game. Now you will be able to see the display of cars during races and free movement, and even "realistic displays of Drivatar in photo mode".

The developers also added the latest Nvidia DLAA anti-aliasing technology based on artificial intelligence. DLAA is designed for PC gamers who have sufficient GPU headroom and want to ensure higher image quality. In general, the technology is similar in principle to DLSS, but instead of improving performance, it improves image quality.
