Chinese scientists unveiled a jet skateboard with speeds up to 150 km/h and 3 km flight altitude
Chinese scientists from the Beijing Institute of Power Machinery have created a hoverboard that can lift a person to a height of 3 kilometers.
Here's What We Know
The model does not have a commercial name and is still at the prototype stage with the number SF-FB-30. The device is equipped with four small jet engines, can take off and land vertically.
According to the developers, jet skateboard is capable of speeds up to 150 km/h (cruising - 60 km/h) and has a maximum flight altitude of 3000 meters. The current version of the "vehicle" can operate for 10 minutes at cruising speed.
The hoverboard supports artificial intelligence algorithms. Tests of the air skateboard with human participation are scheduled for next year. By the way, the weight of the "driver" should not exceed 100 kg.
