Two weeks ago it became known that SpaceX wants to launch the Starship spacecraft on its first orbital flight before the end of the year. According to new reports, the company is speeding up preparations for the launch.

Here's What We Know

Elon Musk's company is offering its employees to move to work at the SpaceX Starbase. Everyone who agrees, is promised a salary increase of 10-20% depending on the position. Hourly pay will also be increased. In addition, the company will add performance-based bonuses in fiscal year 2023.

The Starship spacecraft is 50 meters high and the rocket booster is 70 meters. SpaceX has already tested the shuttle with a low-altitude ascent and landing. But the rocket, which is equipped with 33 engines, has never been up in the air. The company has limited itself to static firing tests.

Despite the optimism with which SpaceX looks to December, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has not yet given the company permission to launch the spacecraft. The regulator is demanding that SpaceX correct all remarks.
