Next generation patch for Witcher 3 will appear on December 14

The "next generation" patch for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC will be released on December 14. If you have the base version of the game on PC, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you will receive the update for free.

Here's What We Know

CDPR said that the update will bring updated ray tracing graphics and faster loading times to the game. It should make the game on consoles almost as good as on a powerful PC. The publisher will tell more information during the Twitch stream, which will take place next week.

If you are still using PlayStation 4 or Xbox One and do not plan to upgrade, then you will have access to a purely content update with "numerous improvements" and access to content inspired by the Netflix series. However, we were not given a date for this update.
