Microsoft adds casual games to Teams that you can play with the whole team
Microsoft is adding a whole bunch of casual games to Microsoft Teams. Now you can play your favorite solitaire, EOD, Wordament, or IceBreakers with your colleagues in between work meetings. All four games are interactive and support multiple players and were developed by Microsoft Casual Games, part of Xbox Game Studios. The games are available in the new Games for Work program in Microsoft Teams and can support from two to 250 players.
In adding these games to Teams, Microsoft cites a Brigham Young University study that found people playing short video games together were 20% more productive than those who participated in traditional team building methods.
Currently, the Games for Work program is planned for corporate users only.
