Insider shared information about Crash Bandicoot Wumpa League - an online game where two teams collect fruit on dangerous maps
Game historian Liam Robertson shared information about the online game Crash Bandicoot Wumpa League on his YouTube channel.
Here's What We Know
The game was developed on the 4-part Crash Bandicoot game engine. It was supposed to be released in 2021. However, Toys For Bob, which is engaged in games about Crash, was sent to help in the development of Call of Duty: Warzone.
Wumpa League is supposed to be an online game where two teams compete to be the first to collect a certain amount of Wumpa Fruit. The game has several maps with their own peculiarities. For example, on one of the maps the level of toxic water is constantly rising and players have to look for new safe places.
The game will also have different characters from the Crash Bandicoot universe with their skins that can be obtained and improved.
Liam also stated that he has more recent footage of Wumpa League, but he was banned from showing it. This has already started rumors that the game could be announced at The Game Awards 2022.
