Insane popularity: 25 million people played Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 in 5 days after release
Activision released its battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 on November 16, but the game has already managed to gather a multi-million audience.
Here's What We Know
According to the official Twitter of the game, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 was played by 25 million players worldwide on different platforms in 5 days. Despite all the bugs and problems with the crossplay that caught Warzone 2.0 on release, this did not prevent Activision's project from becoming one of the most talked about games of the fall.
In general, this year Call of Duty sets record after record. For example, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II crossed the $1 billion mark in the first 10 days after release and became the fastest selling game in the series. After the failure of Call of Duty: Vanguard, MW II was welcomed with great pleasure and players are ready to spend many hours of online battles here and in Warzone 2.0.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 was released on November 16. The game is available for free on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
