Samsung has announced a special version of the Galaxy A23 5G smartphone.

The novelty is designed for the Japanese market. It is completely different from the model, which is sold in other countries. The device has received a model number SCG18, a compact plastic case with IP68 water protection and a 5.8-inch display. It is a TFT panel with HD+ resolution.
The Japanese version of the Galaxy A23 5G runs the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The device also has a 50 MP main camera, a 5 MP front camera, NFC for contactless payments, a headphone jack and a side fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is powered by a 4000 mAh battery. The novelty also has eSIM, 5G, Dual-Band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS and a USB Type-C charging port.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G (SCG18) is already available in Japan. The novelty costs $230.
