Battista Hyper GT electric car set several speed records, including acceleration to 100 km/h in 1.86 s
Automobili Pininfarina has announced several records set by the electric car Battista Hyper GT in the United Arab Emirates.

The car took a ride on the autodrome in Dubai, where it managed to set several world records at once. The car is equipped with a 1900 horsepower engine with 2340 Nm of torque. Its top speed is 350 km/h and it has a range of 476k on the WLTP cycle.
The Battista Hyper GT was able to set six world records, four of which are related to speed. The car was able to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 1.79 seconds and to 100 km/h in 1.86 seconds. It took 4.49 seconds to reach 120 mph and 4.75 seconds for the speedometer needle to reach 200 km/h.
The fifth record is a full stop at 100 km/h with a braking distance of 31 meters. Not a single electric car in the world can boast of that. Moreover, the Battista Hyper GT has an EPA range of 300 miles (482.8 km). This is the best indicator among hypercars equipped with electric engines.
The price of the Battista Hyper GT is €2.2 million excluding taxes. The assembly of one car takes more than 1250 hours. All in all Automobili Pininfarina has produced about 150 cars.
