Not just Greece: Slovakia donated 30 BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Minister of Defense of Slovakia said that the country transferred BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine.
Here's What We Know
It is about 30 BMPs. It was possible to transfer the equipment due to the agreement between Slovakia and Germany. Most likely, to replace BMP-1s Slovakia will receive German Marder fighting vehicles. By the way, the same exchange of weapons was done earlier by Greece.
Flashback
The BMP-1 is a Soviet armored tracked fighting vehicle. It can float and is designed to carry and support a single motorized rifle squad. The BMP-1 accommodates 11 people: 3 crew members (driver mechanic, gunner-operator and combat vehicle commander) and 8 troopers.
